Your reviews app holds hundreds of customer photos. They sit in a stars widget at the bottom of the product page. Most shoppers never scroll that far. This guide moves them into Idukki, tagged to their products. Then they can sit in a gallery near the top.
Who this is for
Stores that collect reviews in Yotpo, Okendo or Loox. You want their photos and videos in shoppable galleries. Your reviews app keeps running as it is.
What you need
| Source | What you enter | Where to find it | How it syncs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yotpo | App key and secret key | Yotpo, Settings, Store settings | Daily, plus Import now |
| Okendo | Store ID only | Okendo, Settings, Integrations, API | Daily, plus Import now |
| Loox | A CSV export of your reviews | Loox, Reviews, export all reviews | Upload a newer export to update |
Your products should already be in Idukki, so each review can be matched to its product. Matching uses the store product id first, then the SKU, then the product handle.
Connect a source
- Open the source’s tab. In the dashboard, open Settings. Under Integrations, choose Yotpo, Okendo or Loox.In the dashboard: Settings, Integrations: the Yotpo, Okendo and Loox tabs
- Pick the two settings. “Only reviews with photos or videos” is on by default. “Show tagged reviews on their product page straight away” is on by default too. Untick it to approve reviews by hand.
- Connect Yotpo or Okendo. Paste your Yotpo app key and secret key, or your Okendo Store ID. Click Connect. Idukki checks the keys with the vendor before it saves them. The Yotpo secret is stored sealed and never shown again. In the dashboard: The Yotpo tab: app key and secret key fields with the Connect Yotpo button
- Or upload your Loox export. In Loox, export all reviews to a CSV file. In the Loox tab, click Choose CSV file and pick it. Files over 6 MB are refused, so split a large export first.
- Run the first import. For Yotpo and Okendo, click Import now. After that, a sync runs every day. The tab shows the last sync and what it brought in.
How to check it worked
| Check | What you should see |
|---|---|
| The tab | A line such as “12 reviews imported. 9 tagged to a product.” |
| Your posts | New review posts with stars, each tagged to its product. |
| A product page | With auto-publish on, tagged reviews with media show in that page’s gallery. |
| A second import | No duplicates. Reviews already imported, or ones you deleted, are skipped. |
- Hidden or unpublished reviews in your app are skipped.
- Disconnecting a source stops the sync. Posts already imported stay.
- No email goes to the reviewer. The import only reads your reviews.
Questions about review imports
- Do I have to stop using Yotpo, Okendo or Loox?
- No. Your reviews app keeps collecting reviews. Idukki reads them and turns the ones with media into posts.
- Why did some reviews not import?
- Reviews with no photo or video are skipped while that setting is on. Hidden reviews and ones you deleted in Idukki are skipped too.
- Why is a review not tagged to a product?
- Idukki could not match it. Check the product is in Idukki with the same product id, SKU or handle.
- How do I import new Loox reviews?
- Loox has no connection to sync from. Export a newer CSV and upload it. Reviews already imported are skipped.
- Is review import on my account?
- It is in early access. Ask us and we switch on the sources you use.

|---|---|---|---|
| 1. The buried photo | 0 to 10 | A product page scrolled to a stars widget at the very bottom. | Your best customer photos live down here. Most shoppers never see them. |
| 2. The tab | 10 to 20 | Settings, Integrations, then the Yotpo tab. | In Idukki, open Settings and pick your reviews app. |
| 3. The keys | 20 to 35 | App key and secret key pasted. Connect clicked. A green connected state. | Paste your keys. Idukki checks them with Yotpo before it saves anything. |
| 4. The settings | 35 to 45 | The two ticked boxes, close up. | Keep reviews with photos or videos. Choose whether they go live straight away. |
| 5. The import | 45 to 60 | Import now clicked. The summary line appears. | Click Import now. Each review keeps its stars and its product. |
| 6. The payoff | 60 to 75 | The same product page, now with review photos in a gallery near the top. | Now those photos sit where shoppers decide. Ask us to switch it on. |
