How the self-improving marketing engine works

A ranking layer that watches which UGC converts, promotes the winners into prime widget slots and retires the rest, gated by a real significance test.

The self-improving marketing engine is a ranking layer that sits on top of your Idukki widgets. It watches which UGC drives the most add-to-cart, promotes the winners into prime slots and retires the rest, using the same Welch z-test that ships in /tools/ab-significance so the ranking is honest rather than vibes.

What it does, per surface

  • A separate ranker per surface (PDP gallery, story rail, video wall, link-in-bio), because what wins on a PDP rarely wins in email.
  • A clip only graduates into a prime slot once its uplift over the median clears statistical significance, so there are no vanity promotions.
  • Clips that under-perform for a sustained window drop to the long tail, rights-cleared but stale content gets cycled out without a manual review.
  • An honest dashboard answers "why is this clip on top?" with the same data the ranker saw, not a black-box recommendation.

Who it’s for

It’s aimed at brands running many widget surfaces who can’t hand-curate each one every week, growth teams who already lean on A/B testing and want the loop to close itself, and teams who need attribution they can defend to finance.
