The best shoppable video platforms in 2026: nine compared, on any store platform

Nine shoppable video platforms, from Videowise and Bambuser to Smartzer and Idukki. Compared on store platforms, cart, live, rights, price and page weight. We make Idukki.

Most lists of shoppable video platforms are written by a platform. The top three results we saw this morning were. This one is too: we make Idukki. So the criteria come first. Every fact comes from the vendor's own pages, read 13 October 2026. A dash means the page does not say.

What the other lists leave out

Tolstoy's list names seven tools and gives no prices. Videowise's names twelve and quotes rival prices from third-party roundups. Neither says which store platforms each tool supports. For a store on Magento or SFCC, that column decides the shortlist. So it comes first here.

The criteria, applied to every vendor

Each vendor gets the same eight questions. "Not stated" means its own pages do not answer. Ask before you rule anyone out.

  • Store platforms. Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, SFCC or headless, as named on its pages.
  • Cart in the player. The shopper adds to cart without leaving the video.
  • Live or on-demand. Does it stream live shows, or only play recorded video?
  • UGC and rights. Can it import customer video and ask the creator for permission?
  • Analytics. What it counts, and how it ties a sale to a video.
  • Page weight. A published script size, a loading claim, or nothing.
  • Price. What the meter counts, and the lowest published price.
  • AI and enterprise. AI tagging or generation. SSO, consent and data residency where stated.

Videowise: most video depth, on Shopify and SFCC

Videowise sells video commerce as modules. Shoppable Video starts at $239 a month for up to 50,000 monthly visitors. Live Shopping is a separate module from $239, for 5,000 streamed minutes. AI Clips and AI content creation are priced on their own. Each module has a free trial. Its own blog names Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Its homepage lists a UGC Hub with usage rights and always-on A/B tests.

Best for: Shopify or SFCC brands wanting live, recorded video and AI clips together. Limits: the modules add up, and no script size is published. More in our Videowise comparison and Idukki vs Videowise.

Tolstoy: lowest entry price, AI included

Every Tolstoy paid plan bundles shoppable video, AI Studio and an AI Sales Agent. Starter is $8 a month billed yearly, for 5,000 shoppable video viewers. Extra viewers cost $10 per 1,000 on Starter. Plus is $29, Pro $129 and Max $299, all billed yearly. Eligible free accounts get 30 days of uncapped on-site views. Its integrations list names Shopify, Wix, Tapcart and the Shop app.

Best for: Shopify brands that want AI-made product video at a low entry price. Limits: no live shopping on its pricing page, and no WooCommerce, Magento or SFCC. See Tolstoy compared and the best Tolstoy alternatives.

Firework: many formats for large retailers

Firework sells four products: Shoppable Video, 1:1 Video Chat, Video Showroom and an AI video assistant. Shoppable Video has a free Pilot plan with 10 uploads and an Instagram and TikTok importer. Starter and Growth list Shopify, but the page text we read showed no dollar price. Pro starts at 100,000 monthly video views and is quoted. Video Showroom carries live shopping: scheduled events, unlimited replay and social simulcast.

Its Enterprise tier lists single sign-on, an uptime SLA and multi-touch revenue attribution. A Privacy Gateway add-on costs 50% extra. Best for: large retailers wanting live, on-demand and video chat under one contract. Limits: most tiers are quoted, and integrations beyond Shopify are custom work.

Bambuser: live first, with the fullest privacy list

Bambuser leads with live shopping and sells shoppable video on the same plans. Plans count video views. Free includes 250 views a month and two users. Essential is $326 a month, billed yearly at $3,917, with 2,000 views. Pro is $462 a month billed yearly and adds SSO, white labelling and a mobile SDK. Extra views cost $0.25 each.

Its feature list includes social UGC import, UGC rights requests, add to bag and catalogue sync. Its privacy list names ISO 27001, GDPR and a DPA. Data can stay in the US or EU. Store platforms connect through webhooks; the pricing page names none.

Best for: retailers running regular live shows who need SSO and EU data residency. Limits: a busy show uses views fast, and paid plans bill yearly. See Bambuser compared and the live shopping list.

Whatmore: billed by clicks on Shopify

Whatmore meters video clicks, with unlimited impressions on every plan. Plans start at $29 a month for under 3,000 clicks. Growth is $79 for 15,000 clicks, Scale $149 for 40,000 and Premium $249 for 80,000. Each has a 14-day trial. Smart Matching tags products automatically from Scale up. A separate AI Studio sells generated images and video on credits.

Best for: Shopify brands that would rather pay per click than per view. Limits: it installs from the Shopify App Store, and no other platform is named. It describes lazy loading but publishes no script size. See Whatmore compared.

Storista: flat price on Shopify, with TikTok Shop

Storista charges a flat monthly fee with no view meter. After a free plan come Starter at $15, Growth at $49 and Scale at $199. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial. It imports from Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. It publishes to TikTok Shop and holds the Built for Shopify badge.

Best for: small Shopify stores that want a predictable bill or a route to TikTok Shop. Limits: Shopify only, five widget types, and no live shopping on its pricing page. See Storista compared.

Flowbox: UGC first, for multi-country retail

Flowbox is a UGC platform first, with video inside its galleries. It collects from Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube. It requests media rights from creators inside a GDPR flow. AI product recognition links posts to your catalogue. It says its architecture suits multi-domain, multi-country and multi-currency stores. Pricing goes through sales.

Best for: multi-country retailers wanting UGC, reviews and rights under one contract. Limits: its product guide describes no cart inside a video player and no live video. You cannot price it without a call. See Flowbox compared.

Smartzer: interactive campaign video

Smartzer has made interactive video since 2012. Its player adds clickable hotspots, product overlays and add-to-cart to any video. It also runs live shopping with chat and product cards, plus branching videos. It can host a shoppable landing page with no store integration. Videos can run in social posts and ads too. Pricing is by demo.

Best for: campaign films that must work across site, social and paid media. Limits: no published price, and no UGC import or rights tools on its homepage.

Idukki: video, photos and reviews on any major store (ours)

We make Idukki. It puts shoppable video, customer photos and imported reviews in one library. Reviews come from Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and Judge.me. Rights are recorded per post. The add-to-cart drawer works inside the gallery on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento 2 and PrestaShop. On Salesforce Commerce Cloud it needs our early-access SFRA cartridges. Headless stores plug their own cart in with a hook.

The widget runtime is 79 KB gzipped, measured in October 2026. Attribution starts from the store's order webhook. Proven and influenced orders stay in separate columns. AI tags products in each post, and AI Studio for generated video is in early access. The Free plan covers 5,000 impressions a month. Shoppable video starts on Starter, at $45 a month.

Best for: stores off Shopify, or brands whose best proof mixes clips, photos and reviews. Limits: no live streaming today, only a beta for scheduled events with chat. No TikTok Shop publishing either. The live commerce page says what ships. Setup guides: WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento.

How to choose, by situation

  • Shopify DTC. Read the Shopify list. Storista and Whatmore are the cheapest starts. Videowise goes deepest.
  • Several store platforms. Check the platform column first. On the pages we read, only Idukki names WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento carts.
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Videowise names SFCC. Idukki has early-access cartridges. Ask either for a live SFRA reference.
  • Enterprise procurement. Bambuser publishes the most: SSO, ISO 27001 and US or EU data residency. Firework lists SSO on Enterprise.
  • Live first. Bambuser, Firework, Videowise or Smartzer. Read live shopping vs on-demand video before you commit.
  • UGC first. Idukki or Flowbox. Bambuser and Videowise also list rights tools.
  • Tight budget. Tolstoy at $8, Storista at $15 or Whatmore at $29, all on Shopify. Idukki has a Free plan.

Whichever you pick, test it on your slowest product page first. The Core Web Vitals guide has the test. The meters are compared in how UGC and shoppable video software is priced. Placement is covered in where to place shoppable video.
