The best UGC apps for Magento and Adobe Commerce in 2026: four options compared
Yotpo, Emplifi, Bazaarvoice and Idukki for a Magento or Adobe Commerce store. The extension, shoppable galleries, rights requests and price, each from the vendor's own pages. We make Idukki.
On Adobe Commerce, a UGC tool is a Composer package before it is a gallery. Someone runs setup:upgrade, clears the cache and checks the PHP version. Then the marketing team sees the widget. So this list starts with the extension, and gets to the gallery after.

How we compared them
Each tool gets the same five questions:
- An Adobe Commerce extension. A Marketplace listing or install guide, with the versions it supports.
- Social posts. Can it pull Instagram or TikTok posts into a gallery?
- Shoppable. Can a shopper buy from a tagged post?
- Rights requests. Does it record the creator's yes before you reuse a post?
- Published price. Can you see the cost without a sales call?
Each yes counts as one point and each partial as half. The list ranks the three rivals by points. We make Idukki, so it sits apart at the end. We wrote the criteria, so weigh them yourself.
We left out Stamped, as its FAQ names Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. We found no Taggbox listing on the Adobe Commerce Marketplace. Its Magento guide pastes an HTML embed instead.
The four at a glance
| Tool | Extension | Social posts | Shoppable | Rights requests | Price | Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yotpo | Yotpo Reviews 4.x, Adobe Commerce 2.3.3 and up | Instagram, on Pro and up | Yes: Shoppable Instagram gallery | Yes: comment request, hashtag reply | Reviews free to 50 orders; Pro from $119 | 5 of 5 |
| Emplifi | Social UGC 3.0.2, for 2.4 | Yes: customer photos and Instagram | Yes: shoppable galleries | Yes on Instagram; proof upload for TikTok, YouTube | On request; Emplifi UGC customers only | 4 of 5 |
| Bazaarvoice | Bazaarvoice for Magento 2, 9.1.9, for 2.4 | Instagram, into Galleries | Partial: galleries in its Social Commerce suite | Yes: Rights Request tool | Not published; sales-led | 3.5 of 5 |
| Idukki (ours) | Magento 2 module in early access; snippet today | Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads | Yes: adds to the Magento cart | Yes, on every plan | Free to 5,000 impressions; from $45 | 5 of 5 |
1. Yotpo: reviews plus shoppable Instagram
Yotpo's extension 4.0.0 and up covers Adobe Commerce 2 from version 2.3.3. That includes Open Source and Commerce editions. Its install guide says Single-Store Mode is not supported. The Marketplace listing bundles three modules, and all three are needed.
Reviews is free up to 50 orders a month. Starter starts at $15 a month and rises with orders. Visual UGC needs Pro or above, and Pro starts at $119 a month. Visual UGC pulls Instagram posts and tags them to products. Rights requests post a comment, and the creator replies with your hashtag.
Best for: a store that wants reviews and Instagram galleries with prices it can see. Limits: each Yotpo product is billed by monthly orders. Check the extension against your exact Adobe Commerce version first.
2. Emplifi Social UGC: shoppable galleries in a suite
Emplifi bought Pixlee TurnTo in November 2022. Its Social UGC extension for Adobe Commerce is at version 3.0.2. The listing shows Adobe Commerce 2.4 as current, on cloud and on-premise. Its release notes add PHP 8.5 support and better add-to-cart analytics.
The extension shows shoppable galleries of customer photos, including Shoppable Instagram. A nightly cron exports your catalogue to Emplifi. Rights requests go out as Instagram comments. TikTok and YouTube need you to ask outside the tool and store proof.
Best for: a team already on Emplifi for social or care. Limits: the listing says the extension is only for Emplifi UGC customers. Pricing is on request.
3. Bazaarvoice: reviews for the retail network
Bazaarvoice for Magento 2 is at version 9.1.9, for Adobe Commerce 2.4. It sends catalogue feeds and shows ratings, reviews and Q&A on product pages. It adds a purchase pixel, SEO markup and review request feeds. Display only works once each feature is enabled on the Bazaarvoice side.
Galleries of Instagram posts sit in its Social Commerce product. Its Rights Request tool sends and tracks permission messages. Bazaarvoice publishes no prices. Vendr buyer data put the median contract near $36,000 a year, checked 24 September 2026.
Best for: a brand that needs reviews syndicated to retailer sites. Limits: sales-led buying, and galleries are a separate product from the reviews extension.
Idukki: social, reviews and video in one gallery (ours)
We make Idukki. Posts come from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Threads. Reviews come from Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and Judge.me. Customers can also upload from a QR code or a request link. Rights requests run on every plan, Free included.
On Magento 2 the widget detects the storefront and adds to its cart from the gallery. If an add fails, it opens the product page. The universal snippet works on any Magento store today.
The Idukki Magento 2 module is in early access and not on the Marketplace. It sends your catalogue daily and changes every 5 minutes. It adds a CMS widget and a product page gallery. Each order goes to Idukki with the gallery visitor id, without blocking checkout.
Leroy Merlin South Africa runs Idukki on Adobe Commerce. Before Idukki it ran customer content on Bazaarvoice.
Best for: a store that wants social posts, reviews and shoppable video in one gallery. Limits: the module is early access. No retailer syndication and no loyalty programme.
Which one to try first
Start here
Do your reviews need to appear on retailer sites?
- Yes
A syndication network
Retailer sites take reviews through a network.
- Budget for an annual contract: Bazaarvoice
- No
On-site UGC
Galleries and reviews on your own store.
- Want published prices and reviews: Yotpo
- Already on Emplifi: Emplifi Social UGC
- Social, reviews and video together: Idukki
How to choose
- 1Match the extension to your Adobe Commerce and PHP versions before the demo.
- 2Ask whether it supports Hyva or your theme. Emplifi lists a separate Hyva module.
- 3Ask what the shop button does. Does it add to the Magento cart, or open the product page?
- 4Ask how orders reach the vendor: a pixel, a feed or a module call.
- 5Ask how a creator's yes is recorded for each social post.
- 6Run PageSpeed Insights on a product page before and after the gallery goes live.
