Idukki vs Yotpo vs Bazaarvoice: price, rights and attribution in one table

What each one bills for and how each records a creator's yes. How each credits an order to UGC. Every rival fact sourced and dated. We make Idukki.

Three sales decks will each show you a revenue number. Each one was counted a different way. One estimates from shoppers who engaged in the last 24 hours. One reads a pixel. One starts from the order. Put the three methods next to each other before you compare the numbers.

  • What the bill counts. Orders, impressions or a quoted package.
  • How you buy. Self-serve, or through sales.
  • Rights. How the creator's permission is asked for and recorded.
  • Attribution. How an order gets credited to customer content.
  • Reach. Retailer syndication, loyalty and the platforms each runs on.

We left out ratings and review counts. We score nothing. The table says what each vendor's own page says, with the source number.

What each bill counts

Yotpo prices Reviews and Loyalty as separate products, each by monthly orders. Reviews Starter starts at $15 a month. Yotpo lists it at $89 at 500 orders and $129 at 1,000. Pro starts at $119. Visual UGC needs Pro or above.

Bazaarvoice's pricing page lists packages and asks you to contact sales. Its FAQ says there are packages for every business size. Vendr's buyer data put the median contract near $36,000 a year. Larger multi-module deals ran $100,000 to $200,000.

Idukki prices by widget impressions. Free covers 5,000 a month. Starter is $45 for 10,000, Growth $75 for 20,000 and Professional $200 for 50,000. Enterprise is custom. Order count does not change the price.

How each records a creator's yes

Yotpo posts a request comment on the Instagram post. The creator replies with your hashtag, and the post moves to Approved. Posts that @mention you get the request automatically. Others need you to paste the message yourself. Yotpo's docs warn that album media shows on site while a request is pending.

Bazaarvoice's Rights Request tool sends and tracks permission messages for Instagram photos and videos. It can send requests automatically when your connected account is tagged. Approved content moves into the live gallery. Its support guide says retailers on its network must request rights through the platform.

Idukki sends rights requests on every plan, Free included. Rights management keeps an audit trail of each request. The rights management page shows the flow.

How each credits an order

Yotpo's Conversion Dashboard estimates sales by asset. It takes the share of orders from shoppers who engaged with a Yotpo asset. Then it multiplies that share by total sales. Its Photos Dashboard counts a conversion within 24 hours of viewing a photo.

Bazaarvoice's Conversion Impact Report reads transaction events from its pixel on your site. It reports revenue per visitor, conversion lift and average order value. Its docs say data takes about 24 hours to appear.

Idukki starts from the order your store records. On Shopify that is the order webhook. It then looks back 30 days for UGC touches by the same shopper. Proven orders follow an add to cart from customer content. Influenced and unattributed orders sit in their own columns.

None of the three proves the content caused the sale. Only an A/B test does that. What is order-anchored attribution explains the method.

Moving from Yotpo or Bazaarvoice

Switching in five steps

  1. 01

    List what you use

Reviews, galleries, loyalty, syndication. Keep the vendor for any part Idukki lacks.

  2. 02

    Export reviews

Yotpo exports reviews as a CSV. Ask Bazaarvoice in writing what export it gives you.

  3. 03

    Import and check

Idukki imports Yotpo CSVs with ratings, photos, video and verified-buyer flags.

  4. 04

    Save rights records

Keep every creator approval before the old account closes.

  5. 05

    Test, then cancel

A/B test the new gallery on one template. Cancel at the renewal date.

Run the old and new widgets side by side before you cancel.

Check your notice period before you start. Annual contracts often renew on a date set in the order form.
