Idukki vs Yotpo
Yotpo has narrowed hard: it sunset Subscriptions in May 2025 and shut down its Email + SMS products on 31 December 2025 (the SMS customer base went to Attentive), leaving Reviews, Visual UGC and Loyalty. Entry tiers are now published, but each product is still billed separately with order-volume caps. If you built on the old all-in-one Yotpo, this is the moment to re-evaluate. Idukki is one platform, every module, billed simply per impression. Newer wrinkle: Yotpo Discover, an AI-visibility monitoring and remediation product, is in early access for brands at roughly $10M+ annual GMV, with no public GA date as of September 2026.

Where Idukki is the better fit
- One platform, one bill, vs Yotpo's separately-billed Reviews + Visual UGC + Loyalty modules
- Per-impression pricing scales linearly; Yotpo order-cap tiers add per-order overage
- Sub-40 KB widget runtime with published performance numbers
- Multi-platform: WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix beyond Shopify
- No product-line sunsets to migrate off: the platform you adopt is the platform that stays
Where Yotpo still has an edge
- Mature loyalty + referrals product (we don't ship one)[1]
- Recognised enterprise procurement workflow + RFP responses (our judgement)
- Large Shopify-Plus installed base for peer references[7]
- Yotpo Discover: a dedicated AI-visibility product that tracks how a catalogue surfaces across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews at SKU, category and persona level. We publish an agent-readable feed; Discover reports on what the engines actually say back (checked 1 Sep 2026)[2][3]
- Discover ships remediation agents on top of the monitoring: an onsite agent that repairs Product, Offer, Review, AggregateRating and FAQPage schema plus PDP and internal-linking errors, and a content agent that drafts answer-first AEO content. Idukki has no equivalent automated-fix layer (checked 1 Sep 2026)[4][3]

Questions buyers ask in the room
The same questions, every time we’re in a side-by-side with Yotpo. Answers as we’d give them.
Is Idukki cheaper than Yotpo for a £2M DTC brand?+
Usually, because of how the bills stack. Yotpo's modular pricing means Reviews and Visual UGC each carry a separate fee with order-volume caps and overage; Idukki includes UGC, reviews display and visual marketing in one impression-billed plan. Model your order volume against both and the consolidation maths is normally clear.
What happened to Yotpo SMS and email?+
Yotpo announced in August 2025 that it was exiting email and SMS, and both products shut down on 31 December 2025; the SMS customer base was transitioned to Attentive. Yotpo Subscriptions had already been retired in May 2025. Yotpo now focuses on Reviews, Visual UGC and Loyalty.
Yotpo launched Discover. Does that beat Idukki on AI visibility?+
It contests the ground, and we have moved that matrix row to partial rather than leave a claim standing that no longer holds. Discover is a monitoring and remediation product: it watches how your SKUs surface in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, then runs agents that repair schema and draft AEO content. Two things are worth weighing before you treat it as settled. Yotpo's own pages describe Discover as early access with the initial release aimed at brands doing $10M+ in annual GMV, and everyone below that on a waitlist; we found no public general-availability date as of 1 September 2026. And it reports on visibility rather than supplying the evidence an engine needs to trust a product, which is the part Idukki's rights-cleared, product-tagged UGC feed exists to do. The two are complements more than substitutes today.
Can I migrate review history from Yotpo to Idukki?+
Yes. We support a one-click reviews import from Yotpo (CSV export → Idukki import), preserving star ratings, photos, video and verified-buyer flags. Migration takes hours, not weeks.
Is Idukki a good alternative to Yotpo?+
For most teams evaluating both, yes: one platform, one bill, vs Yotpo's separately-billed Reviews + Visual UGC + Loyalty modules. See the full breakdown above before switching.
