The best Covet alternatives in 2026: eight options for Shopify stores

Instafeed, EmbedSocial, Taggbox, Foursixty, Judge.me, Loox, Tolstoy and Idukki against Covet.pics. Entry prices, what each bill counts, product tags and video. We make Idukki.

Your Covet Growth plan holds five galleries. Then a sixth product launch needs a gallery of its own. The next plan is Premium, at $79.99 a month. That is also where hotspot tags live. This is usually the week a store starts pricing Covet alternatives.

Covet.pics builds shoppable galleries from Instagram posts and customer photo reviews. Its pricing page lists three plans. Each has a 14-day trial, and there is no free plan.

Lite is $9.99 a month for 1 gallery and 200 review request emails. Growth is $29.99 for 5 galleries and 500 review requests. It adds Instagram mentions, 2 hashtags, manual upload and branding removal. Premium is $79.99 for 50 galleries, 5 hashtags and 2,000 review requests. It also adds hotspot tagging.

Its Shopify listing says it pulls Instagram photos, videos and Reels. Buyers can send photo and video reviews, and you approve each one first. So Covet already shows video from Instagram.

Why stores look past Covet

  • Gallery caps. Lite holds 1 gallery and Growth holds 5. A sixth gallery means Premium, at $79.99.
  • Hashtag caps. Lite syncs no hashtags. Growth syncs 2, and Premium syncs 5.
  • Hotspots on Premium only. The pricing page lists hotspot tagging on the $79.99 plan alone.
  • Hashtags start from today. Its help centre says a hashtag pull collects posts from the last 24 hours. It saves new posts from then on.
  • Hashtag posts lose the handle. Its help centre says hashtag images show "@" in place of the username. It puts this down to Instagram's API.
  • One social source. Its pricing page and listing name Instagram. We found no TikTok or YouTube source there.
  • Tags stay on your store. Its help centre says product tags do not sync back to Instagram.

Our search did not surface the text of Covet's low-star Shopify reviews. So every reason above comes from Covet's own pages.

How we picked and compared them

Covet does two jobs: shoppable Instagram galleries and photo review galleries. Each tool here does at least one of them on Shopify. We asked five questions of each:

  • Main job. Instagram feed, shoppable UGC gallery, photo reviews or shoppable video.
  • Entry price. The free plan, or the cheapest paid plan.
  • What the bill counts. Galleries, feeds, views, orders, viewers or impressions.
  • Product tags. Can a shopper go from the post to the product?
  • Video. Can the gallery show video, and on which plan?

We make Idukki, so it sits apart at the end. We wrote the questions, so weigh them yourself. Star ratings are left out, as they move weekly. We have no commercial tie to any tool here except our own.

1. Instafeed by Mintt Studio: a free feed of your own posts

Instafeed shows your own Instagram posts and Reels. Its listing describes a free plan with unlimited views and no watermark. It syncs every hour.

Product and collection tags, add-to-cart buttons and Stories sit on the paid Pro plan. Plus adds auto-tagging, unlimited feeds and hashtag filtering. Listing versions we found quote different Pro and Plus prices. Check the live listing before you pay.

Best for: a brand feed on the homepage at no cost. Limits: it shows your posts, and tags cost extra. Several apps use the Instafeed name, so check the developer. More in the best Instagram feed apps for Shopify.

2. EmbedSocial: feeds billed by sources and views

EmbedSocial counts sources and views. A source is one account, location or hashtag. Free has 1 source and 500 views a month. Pro is $29 a month for 3 sources and 5,000 views.

Pro Plus is $49 for 6 sources and 20,000 views. Instagram hashtags and mentions start there. Premium is $99 for 15 sources and 100,000 views. Every plan has unlimited widgets. Its pricing page says a widget stops showing once the month's views run out.

Its Shopify app syncs your catalogue, and you tag products on each post.

Best for: many galleries from a few accounts. Limits: a busy month can switch widgets off. More in EmbedSocial compared.

3. Taggbox: feeds, video and review widgets

Taggbox's widget pricing page lists Free at 1 feed and 500 views a month. Free updates every 4 days. Starter is $19 a month for 2 feeds and 10,000 views.

Growth is $39 for 4 feeds and 50,000 views. It adds the shoppable widget and 30-minute updates. Another Taggbox page shows a 40% saving label on Starter. Ask which billing period each price assumes.

4. Foursixty: shoppable Instagram at a higher price

Foursixty's Shopify listing shows three plans, each with a 14-day trial. Essential is $90 a month for shoppable Instagram and product page galleries.

Complete is $300 a month and adds Reels and TikTok galleries. It also adds UGC collection and rights management. Complete Plus is $500 and adds the Klaviyo integration. Its listing and its own pricing page name some features differently.

Best for: an Instagram-led brand with room in the budget. Limits: video galleries start at $300. More in the best Foursixty alternatives.

5. Judge.me: free photo and video reviews

Judge.me covers Covet's photo review job. Its free plan has unlimited product reviews, including photo and video reviews. Awesome is $15 a month.

Awesome adds AI review summaries, social and Google Shopping syndication and full customisation. It has a 15-day trial and no yearly plan.

Best for: collecting buyer photos at no cost. Limits: we found no Instagram feed on its pricing page. More in Judge.me compared.

6. Loox: visual reviews billed by orders

Loox bills by orders. Beginner is free up to 500 total orders, with 2,000 review request emails a month. It has no video reviews.

Convert is $49.99 a month for 300 orders, plus $50 per extra 300. Video reviews start there. Unlimited is $299.99 a month. Older listing pages show other prices, so check loox.app.

Best for: a store that wants a polished photo review widget. Limits: the bill rises with orders. More in Loox compared.

7. Tolstoy: shoppable video, billed by viewers

Tolstoy's pricing page lists Starter at $8 a month billed yearly, for 5,000 monthly viewers. Its Shopify listing gives $12 billed monthly. Extra viewers cost $10 per 1,000 on Starter.

Every plan includes shoppable video, AI Studio and an AI sales agent. Plus and Pro prices differ between its pages, so we leave them out.

Best for: a store whose customer content is mostly video. Limits: a viral month adds viewer charges. More in Tolstoy compared and the best Tolstoy alternatives.

Idukki: social posts, reviews and video in one gallery (ours)

We make Idukki. Posts come from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook and Pinterest. Reviews come from Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and Judge.me. Customers can also upload by QR code, email request or an on-site widget.

It all sits in one gallery, and you tag products on each post. Our pricing table lists product tags and hotspot tags on every plan, Free included. Rights requests are recorded per post.
