EmbedSocial alternative: every source on every plan

Last updated

EmbedSocial is a long-running social and reviews aggregator with an AI editor and a new MCP server that lets you query your own posts, reviews and analytics from Claude or ChatGPT. Its plans are priced by how many sources you connect: Free (1 source), Pro at $29/mo (3), Pro Plus at $49/mo (6) and Premium at $99/mo (15), each with a monthly view limit.

We make Idukki. It packages things differently: every source on every plan, with plans set by widget impressions. On top of display it adds the selling layer: AI product tagging, shoppable video, add-to-cart inside the gallery and a rights workflow with an audit trail.

Why brands switch

No source ceiling

On EmbedSocial a source is one connected account, location or hashtag, and sources are what you pay for, so a new hashtag campaign can mean a plan upgrade. On Idukki every source is included on every plan.

Built to sell, not only to show

Idukki tags products in posts and video (AI suggests the tags), lets shoppers add to cart from the gallery and attributes sales to the posts they saw.

Rights on record

Every post in an Idukki gallery can carry the creator’s recorded permission, requested and tracked inside the product, with an audit trail you can show if anyone asks.

Where EmbedSocial still has an edge

EmbedSocial still has real strengths:

  • Long history (founded 2015) and a large self-serve customer base
  • Free tier and a 7-day trial for trying before buying
  • EmbedReviews aggregates a wide spread of review platforms (Google, Facebook, Yelp, Trustpilot), per their public positioning
  • A new MCP server lets a merchant connect a named widget to Claude or ChatGPT and query its posts, UGC, reviews and engagement analytics by prompt
  • Prompt-driven widget editing: filter a feed by source, or generate a floating rating badge, by describing it in a chat instruction

How we compared

We make Idukki, so read this as one vendor’s view. Every alternatives page answers the same questions about both products:

  • What content it handles: customer photos, video, reviews or all three
  • Where it runs: which store platforms it supports
  • How it clears the rights to use customer content
  • How it is priced, and what it costs to start
  • What it does better than Idukki

EmbedSocial facts come from EmbedSocial’s own public pages or public reviews, listed below with the date we read them. Nothing here is a score we made up. Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we’ll fix it.

EmbedSocial alternative FAQs

How many sources do EmbedSocial plans include?

Per its pricing page (read 12 October 2026): Free has 1 source and 500 views a month, Pro is $29/mo for 3 sources and 5,000 views, Pro Plus is $49/mo for 6 sources and 20,000 views, and Premium is $99/mo for 15 sources and 100,000 views. Enterprise is custom. Every tier includes unlimited widgets.

EmbedSocial has an MCP server. Does Idukki?

Yes, two. EmbedSocial’s MCP server is read-only. It pulls your own posts, reviews and engagement analytics into Claude or ChatGPT. Idukki’s private MCP server covers that job for your account. It reads posts, products, galleries and sales analytics. With write access, an opt-in box, it can also tag products and publish galleries. Connect it with an API key, or sign in from claude.ai or ChatGPT. The second is a public agent feed. It lets AI shopping assistants find your tagged products with reviews and rights-cleared UGC attached.

Is there a free way to start with Idukki?

Paid plans come with a 30-day free trial. A Shopify store installs Idukki from the App Store and starts on the Free plan. It covers 20,000 widget impressions a month and needs no credit card. On other platforms, book a demo and we set it up with you.
