Import Judge.me reviews and photos into a UGC gallery
Keep Judge.me collecting. Bring photo and video reviews into a shoppable UGC gallery, tagged to products. Partner-safe steps. We make Idukki.
Your bestseller’s Judge.me widget holds thirty customer photos under the fold. The hero is still a studio packshot. Shoppers who never scroll miss the proof you already paid to collect. Import those photos into a gallery near the buy button. Keep Judge.me running.

We make Idukki, so this guide uses Idukki’s Judge.me integration. The same idea holds for any UGC tool that reads Judge.me. Judge.me keeps sending requests and showing stars.

Those figures assume shoppers see the media. A photo buried in the stars widget is seen by fewer of them.

Photos only in Judge.me
- Studio shots in the hero
- Customer photos inside the stars widget
- A thumbnail opens a lightbox with no cart
- Videos stay easy to miss
Photos imported as tagged posts
- A shoppable gallery near the buy button
- Each photo tagged to its product
- Add to cart from the post where the platform allows
- Judge.me stays for stars and text

Export / connect steps
From Judge.me to a shoppable gallery
- 01
Check products
Your catalogue is in Idukki so reviews can match.
- 02
Copy the token
Judge.me admin, Settings, Integrations: private API token.
- 03
Connect
Idukki Settings, Judge.me: shop domain and token. Idukki verifies before saving.
- 04
Import
Choose media-only or include text, then run import.
- 05
Place
Add tagged posts to a product-page gallery near buy.
Incremental sync by webhook is the next piece on our roadmap. Until then, run import again. It continues from the stored cursor.
Moving Yotpo, Okendo or Loox instead? Use move reviews from Yotpo, Okendo or Loox.
Product matching
Idukki tags each review to the Shopify product on the Judge.me record. A review with no match still imports. It sits untagged until you assign a product.
If a bestseller shows no photos after import, compare product ids. Match the Idukki row to the id Judge.me holds. Fix the catalogue row, then re-import or tag by hand.
Gallery go-live
- 1Pick a product-page gallery layout and place it near the buy button.
- 2Filter the collection to Judge.me (or review) posts if you also pull social.
- 3Confirm add-to-cart behaviour on your store platform.
- 4Keep the Judge.me stars widget for text and aggregate rating if you want both.
What stays in Judge.me if dual-running
- Review request emails, reminders and collect forms.
- Moderation inside Judge.me for reviews you only show there.
- Q&A, coupons and referrals if you use those Judge.me features.
- Google Shopping / Shop app paths that Judge.me already runs for you.
- The star widget on the PDP, if you choose to keep it.
Dual-running means shoppers may see the same photo in both widgets. Many stores keep Judge.me for text and the gallery for media. Plan that on purpose.

First-week QA
- 1Day 1: import, then open ten bestsellers and confirm photos.
- 2Day 2: tag any untagged media reviews by hand.
- 3Day 3: hide photos that show the wrong colourway or old packaging.
- 4Day 5: re-run import and confirm no duplicates from the cursor.
- 5Day 7: compare gallery product clicks with the week before.
Questions store owners ask
Do I have to leave Judge.me?
No. Judge.me stays the system of record. The import reads photo and video reviews into a gallery.
Do I need rights requests for review photos?
No. A review submitted to you is first-party. Rights requests are for social posts.
Will new Judge.me reviews appear automatically?
Run import again to continue from the cursor. Webhook sync is on the roadmap.
Will reviews show twice?
They can, if both widgets stay on the page. Keep stars for text and the gallery for photos if that bothers you.
