About Malléwear
Malléwear is an Indian streetwear label selling online at mallewear.com.
The problem
Streetwear is bought on how a piece looks on real people, and the audience expects the visual language of social media rather than a static gallery.
What they set up
- 1Added a circle-stories widget on every product page, styled after Instagram Stories.
- 2Added a product-page carousel and a homepage gallery from the same tagged content.
- 3Set the content library to sync from social every 24 hours so new customer posts appear automatically.
The results
Proven revenue: ₹463K (Orders where the shopper added the product to cart from the widget before buying). Proven orders: 128 (Purchases that followed a widget add-to-cart). Add-to-carts from the widget: 264 (Products added to cart straight from customer content). Cart value from the widget: ₹679K (Value of those add-to-carts: buying intent, not revenue).
Why it worked
Streetwear shoppers already live in Instagram Stories, so the format needs no explaining. Putting it on the product page means a shopper sees the piece on real people at the moment they are deciding on size and fit. The content library syncs from social every 24 hours, so the stories stay current without anyone curating them by hand.
How it’s measured
- Evidence
- Widget-attributed checkout value
- Method
- Idukki widget analytics. Proven revenue and orders count purchases where the shopper added the product to cart from the widget first. Cart value is the value of widget add-to-carts and is never added to revenue. These are the same definitions the merchant dashboard uses.
- Window
- Lifetime: February 2026 to September 2026 (8 months live)
- Source
- Idukki production analytics, refreshed 2026-10-01
- What it does not prove
- Proven revenue is a floor, not the whole effect: it counts only orders where the shopper added to cart from the widget first. Orders from shoppers who saw the content and bought another way are not in it.
“It was a wonderful experience working with Sahil and the team at Idukki. They were extremely supportive throughout the process, responsive whenever we needed assistance, and made the implementation smooth and hassle-free. We truly appreciated their guidance and commitment, and we would highly recommend Idukki to any brand looking to build trust and improve conversions through UGC and shoppable video experiences.”
