About House of Mae
House of Mae sells dresses, co-ords, skirts, shirts and tops online at houseofmae.shop, with size customisation and worldwide shipping.
The problem
A young fashion label selling worldwide has to earn trust with shoppers who have never touched the fabric, and it needs that proof on the product page, not buried on Instagram.
What they set up
- 1Deployed shoppable UGC galleries on the homepage and product pages.
- 2Added a mini-frame on product pages beside the size and buy buttons.
- 3Built an inspiration page from the brand’s Instagram content.
The results
Add-to-carts from the widget: 16 (Products added to cart straight from customer content). Cart value from the widget: ₹43.1K (Value of those add-to-carts: buying intent, not revenue).
Why it worked
With custom sizing on offer, the shopper's doubt is about fit and drape, not the measurements. Customer photos of the same dress on different bodies answer that directly, and putting them in a mini-frame next to the size selector means the answer arrives at the moment of choice.
How it’s measured
- Evidence
- Reach, not a lift claim
- Method
- Idukki widget analytics. Proven revenue and orders count purchases where the shopper added the product to cart from the widget first. Cart value is the value of widget add-to-carts and is never added to revenue. These are the same definitions the merchant dashboard uses.
- Window
- Lifetime: September 2026 (1 month live)
- Source
- Idukki production analytics, refreshed 2026-10-01
- What it does not prove
- No order is counted here: the store has no proven widget order yet, or its checkout tracking is not connected. Add-to-carts and cart value show buying intent, not revenue.
Stack
- Idukki UGC galleries
- PDP mini-frame
- Product tagging
