Syncly Alternative: When You Need to Sell With UGC, Not Just Find It

Last updated

Syncly is a video social listening tool. It transcribes what creators say in TikTok, Reels and Shorts, reads on-screen text and logos, and surfaces brand mentions and creators you would otherwise miss, including people who never tag you. Its original product analyses customer feedback from support tickets, reviews and chat. If listening is the gap in your stack, Syncly is a strong option, and Idukki does not replace it.

Idukki does the job that starts after listening. We make Idukki, so here is the plain version: it collects posts and reviews, asks creators for permission and keeps the record, tags your products, and puts shoppable galleries, video and review widgets on your own store. Then it shows which posts led to sales.

Why brands switch

Content that sells, not a report

Syncly’s product pages describe listening, creator discovery, campaign tracking and feedback analytics. None of them put content on your store. Idukki publishes shoppable galleries and video on your product pages, with add-to-cart inside the gallery.

Permission before anything goes live

Finding a great video is not the same as being allowed to use it. Idukki sends the rights request, records the creator’s consent and keeps an audit trail, so nothing reaches a product page uncleared.

Start free, and see the price first

Syncly offers a free trial and a demo, and its own articles quote different starting prices. Idukki has a Free plan for Shopify stores (up to 5,000 widget impressions a month) and publishes every paid plan price.

Where Syncly still has an edge

Syncly does things Idukki does not do at all, and if you need them it is the better tool for that job:

  • Video-native listening: audio transcription plus AI vision that reads on-screen text and logos across TikTok, Reels and Shorts
  • Finds creators who already mention your brand or category without tagging you
  • Customer feedback analytics that sorts support tickets, reviews and chat into themes such as bugs, churn and feature requests
  • Backed by Y Combinator (W23), with a seed round led by SoftBank Ventures

How we compared

We make Idukki, so read this as one vendor’s view. Every alternatives page answers the same questions about both products:

  • What content it handles: customer photos, video, reviews or all three
  • Where it runs: which store platforms it supports
  • How it clears the rights to use customer content
  • How it is priced, and what it costs to start
  • What it does better than Idukki

Syncly facts come from Syncly’s own public pages or public reviews, listed below with the date we read them. Nothing here is a score we made up. Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we’ll fix it.

Syncly alternative FAQs

Does Idukki do social listening like Syncly?+

No. Idukki collects posts from the accounts and hashtags you connect, and reviews from Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and Judge.me. It does not transcribe videos or scan TikTok for untagged mentions. If you need that, keep Syncly (or a tool like it) and use Idukki for what happens next.

Can Syncly put UGC on my product pages?+

Not according to its public product pages, which we checked on 12 October 2026. They cover listening, creator discovery, campaign tracking and feedback analytics, with no on-site gallery, product tagging or checkout. That is the part Idukki is built for.

How much does Syncly cost?+

Ask Syncly for a quote. It offers a free trial and a demo, but its own 2026 articles disagree: some say pricing is custom, others give a monthly starting price ($120 in one, $199 in another). Idukki’s plans are published on our pricing page.

Is there a free way to start with Idukki?+

There is no trial. A Shopify store installs Idukki from the App Store and starts on the Free plan (up to 5,000 widget impressions a month, no credit card). On other platforms, book a demo and we set it up with you.
