Idukki vs Syncly
Syncly is a social intelligence tool, not a display tool. Its Syncly Social product listens inside TikTok, Reels and Shorts videos (it transcribes what creators say and reads on-screen text and logos) to find brand mentions and the creators behind them, including people who never tag you, and its original product analyses customer feedback from support tickets, reviews and chat.
Idukki starts where listening ends: it collects UGC and reviews, clears the rights, tags your products and puts shoppable galleries and video on your own store, then measures what they sell. Different jobs, so plenty of brands could run both.

Where Idukki is the better fit
- Puts customer content to work on your own store: shoppable galleries, video and review widgets, not a listening dashboard
- Rights clearance with an audit trail before any post is used to sell
- Product tagging and add-to-cart inside the gallery, with sales measured per post
- A Free plan on Shopify and published plan prices, so you can start without a sales call
Where Syncly still has an edge
- Video-native listening: audio transcription plus AI vision that reads on-screen text and logos across TikTok, Reels and Shorts[1][2]
- Finds creators who already mention your brand or category without tagging you[3]
- Customer feedback analytics that sorts support tickets, reviews and chat into themes such as bugs, churn and feature requests[4][5]
- Backed by Y Combinator (W23), with a seed round led by SoftBank Ventures[6]

Questions buyers ask in the room
The same questions, every time we’re in a side-by-side with Syncly. Answers as we’d give them.
Is Syncly a competitor to Idukki?
Only at the edges. Syncly tells you who is talking about your brand in video and what they are saying. Idukki takes the content you have permission to use and turns it into shoppable galleries, video and review widgets on your store. Syncly’s public product pages describe listening, creator discovery, campaign tracking and feedback analytics; we found no on-site gallery, product tagging or checkout feature there when we checked on 12 October 2026.
How much does Syncly cost?
Syncly offers a free trial and a demo, but its own pages do not agree on a starting price: some of its 2026 articles list custom pricing, others quote a monthly starting figure. Ask Syncly for a quote. Idukki publishes its plans, starting with a Free plan for Shopify stores.
Could we use Syncly and Idukki together?
Yes, and it is a sensible pairing. Use Syncly to find the creators and untagged videos worth having, then bring the posts you get permission for into Idukki to tag products, publish shoppable galleries and see which posts sell.
Is Idukki a good alternative to Syncly?
For most teams evaluating both, yes: puts customer content to work on your own store: shoppable galleries, video and review widgets, not a listening dashboard. See the full breakdown above before switching.
