The best social media wall tools for events in 2026: five tools compared
Walls.io, Taggbox, Curator, Juicer and Idukki for event screens. Event passes against subscriptions, sources, moderation and what you keep after the event. We make Idukki.
The screen goes up behind the stage on Thursday night. By Friday lunch, someone has posted a joke nobody wants on a four-metre display. A social wall is easy to switch on. The work is in what it lets through. Then comes what it costs for one weekend, and what you keep.

How we compared them
Every tool answers the same five questions:
- Pricing shape. Can you pay for one event, or only a monthly plan?
- Sources and refresh. How many hashtags or profiles, and how fast new posts appear.
- Moderation. Automatic filters, manual approval or both.
- Audience extras. Guest uploads, polls or a photo booth.
- After the event. Whether you can export or reuse what was posted.
We left out ratings and review counts. They move weekly. We have no commercial tie to any tool here except our own.

Walls.io: a pass for one event
Walls.io sells a 30-day event pass from $270, paid once. It covers up to 500 attendees and 5 sources across 14 platforms. Posts refresh every minute. Enterprise event plans start at $2,400. Add-on packs cost $120 each, for polls and direct posts or for sponsored posts. A photo booth pack costs $240 for 500 photos. After the event you get a ZIP of every published photo. There is a 14-day free trial with no card.
Taggbox Display: weekly and monthly passes
Taggbox sells event walls under its Display product. The weekly pass covers 500 attendees, 2 feeds and 5 platforms. The monthly pass covers 1,000 attendees, 4 feeds and more than 10 platforms. Both update in real time and include manual and automatic moderation. Its page loads prices by region in a script, so we could not read a figure. Check the live page.
Curator: a free plan that scales up
Curator's free plan allows 3 sources and 2,000 views a month, updated once a day. That refresh is too slow for a live event. Pro costs $25 a month, or $23 billed yearly, with 5 sources every 60 minutes. Business costs $59 a month, or $54 yearly. It gives 15 sources, updates every 15 minutes and unlimited views. Curator says its paid plans add a wall for live events.
Juicer: a website feed first
Juicer is built to put a feed on a website. The free plan has one source, refreshes daily and shows Juicer branding. Paid plans start at $15 a month for 3 sources, refreshed hourly. The $99 plan gives 30 sources, a 10-minute refresh and AI moderation. Its event plan costs $299 a year. It gives 7 days of real-time updates across 5 sources, then daily updates for a year. Test it on a screen before you rely on it.
Idukki: walls plus guest uploads (ours)
We make Idukki. It runs hashtag walls for event screens from the same gallery system as its website widgets. Guests can also scan a QR code to upload a photo or video from their phone. They agree to a consent step first, and each upload waits in your review queue. Approved posts stay in your content library after the event. You can request rights on the ones you want for ads or email. The events page and digital signage page cover the setup.
Where it falls short: Idukki has no one-off event pass. Plans are monthly and priced by widget impressions. It has no live polls or reactions on the wall. If you need those, Walls.io sells them as an add-on.

Five checks before event day
- 1Turn on manual approval for the hashtag. Anyone can post to it.
- 2Check the refresh time on your plan. Daily refresh is fine for a website and too slow for a stage.
- 3Count your sources. Each hashtag or profile usually counts as one.
- 4Run the wall on the real screen and browser the day before.
- 5Decide where the posts go afterwards, and ask for rights before you reuse any.
For feeds on a website rather than a screen, read the social media aggregator guide. For X posts only, read how to embed an X feed.
