The best Shopify product quiz apps in 2026: four apps and what each bill counts
Octane AI, RevenueHunt, Quizell and Veeform. Free plans, what counts as a use and what happens at the limit.
A product quiz does what a good shop assistant does. It asks three questions and points at one product. It also hands you the answers, which no analytics tool can. Four apps do this well on Shopify. Their bills count very different things.

Why a quiz, and when
A quiz suits a store where the right product depends on the shopper. Skin type, coffee taste, dog size. If your best seller suits nearly everyone, a quiz adds a step. If shoppers email to ask "which one is for me?", a quiz answers them at 3am.
The answers matter as much as the sale. "Dry skin, fragrance-free, under $40" is a segment your email app can use. Check that your quiz app sends answers to it on the plan you pick.
| App | What the bill counts | Free plan | At the limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Octane AI | Credits: 1 per quiz start, AI actions extra | No, 14-day trial | Pauses, or bills overage if you allow it |
| RevenueHunt | Finished quizzes a month | Yes, 100 a month | Locks at 125% of the plan |
| Quizell | Quiz starts and products | Yes, 10 starts a month | Not stated, ask Quizell |
| Veeform | Responses a month | Yes, 100 a month | Check the listing |
Octane AI: the most AI features
Octane AI builds quizzes with AI product picks, AI copy and image analysis. It bills in credits. Each quiz start uses one credit. Each AI action uses a fraction of one. Basic is $50 a month with 400 credits and two quizzes. Plus is $200 a month with 2,200 credits, unlimited quizzes and A/B tests. There is no free plan. The 14-day trial starts once you accept billing.
Watch the overage switch. With Overages Protection on, you pay for extra credits. With it off, new quiz starts pause at the limit. You can set a monthly cap. Its own pages give two overage rates, so check the help article.
RevenueHunt: the generous free plan
RevenueHunt's free plan covers 100 finished quizzes a month, with no limit on quiz count. It only counts quizzes that reach the end. Basic is $39 a month for 500. Pro is $99 for 1,000. Premium is $199 for 2,500. At 125% of your plan, the quiz locks until you upgrade. Its pages disagree on which plan carries Klaviyo, so check in the app.
Quizell: priced by starts and products
Quizell counts an engagement each time someone starts a quiz. Each plan also caps how many products a quiz can recommend. The free plan allows 10 starts, five products and one quiz. Paid plans have a 7-day trial with no card. Its listing and website show different prices, so check the live page.
Veeform: simple and free to start
Veeform builds recommendation quizzes from templates with branching logic. The free plan covers 100 responses a month. Paid plans add responses and remove Veeform branding. They come with a 7-day trial. Its listing is older than the others, so confirm the plans are current.

Two we left out
Typeform has no Shopify app of its own. Its Shopify connector cannot pull your products into a quiz. Jebbit now sits inside BlueConic as BlueConic Experiences. Its Shopify listing still exists, but we could not confirm its status.
Where Idukki fits (ours)
We make Idukki. Its shoppable gallery has a guided quiz that recommends products beside customer photos. We left it off this list because it is part of a gallery. Every app above is a standalone quiz. For the full set of jobs, read the best Shopify apps to increase conversion.
