Junip Alternative: Reviews, Social UGC and Shoppable Video
Last updated
Junip is a modern reviews app for Shopify with a clean design and strong post-purchase flows. Since Junip 2.0 its plans no longer charge by orders: Free, Core at $29/mo, Growth at $79/mo and Premium at $299/mo, each with unlimited orders and review requests. Its UGC Gallery shows the photos and videos from your product reviews.
We make Idukki. Junip’s gallery shows review media; Idukki’s galleries also pull in posts from Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, tag the products in them, play shoppable video and track the rights, on Shopify and on other platforms.

Why brands switch
A gallery bigger than your reviews
Junip’s UGC Gallery displays the media from your product reviews. Idukki adds the photos and videos customers post on social, so the gallery fills up even on products with few reviews.
Shoppable video in the same widget
Idukki plays shoppable video with tagged products and add-to-cart alongside photos and reviews, in one embed.
Permission for social posts
Using a customer’s Instagram or TikTok post on your site needs their permission. Idukki sends the request, records the answer and keeps the audit trail.
Where Junip still has an edge
Junip keeps real strengths:
- Best-in-class Shopify-Plus integration depth
- Polished post-purchase Klaviyo automation flows (SMS via Klaviyo / Postscript)
- Cheap entry: free tier, then $29 / $79 / $299 a month

How we compared
We make Idukki, so read this as one vendor’s view. Every alternatives page answers the same questions about both products:
- What content it handles: customer photos, video, reviews or all three
- Where it runs: which store platforms it supports
- How it clears the rights to use customer content
- How it is priced, and what it costs to start
- What it does better than Idukki
Junip facts come from Junip’s own public pages or public reviews, listed below with the date we read them. Nothing here is a score we made up. Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we’ll fix it.
