About Waggy Tail Treats Co
Waggy Tail Treats Co makes 100% natural, grain-free dog treats, training treats and curated treat boxes, hand-packed in small batches in Staffordshire, UK. It was a finalist in the UK Small Business Awards 2026.
The problem
Dog owners are cautious about what they feed their pets, and a new, small-batch brand has to earn that trust with visitors who have never heard of it.
What they set up
- 1Added a "Featured on…" shoppable video gallery on the homepage.
- 2Filled it with videos of dogs and their owners unboxing and enjoying the treat boxes.
The results
No outcome is claimed for this deployment yet. What we can show is reach: Widget impressions: 1,423 (Times the galleries were shown since June 2026). Visitors reached: 239 (People shown the galleries, counted once per day). Click rate: 2.04% (Interactions with the content ÷ impressions). Live galleries: 1 (Galleries live on the store today).
Why it worked
A small brand cannot outspend big pet retailers on advertising, but it can show real dogs loving the product. Unboxing videos of real dogs do what a product photo cannot: show the treat box arriving, the dog's reaction and the size of each treat. Putting them on the homepage gives a first-time visitor that proof before they scroll to the shop.
How it’s measured
- Evidence
- Reach, not a lift claim
- Method
- Idukki widget analytics. Proven revenue and orders count purchases where the shopper added the product to cart from the widget first. Cart value is the value of widget add-to-carts and is never added to revenue. These are the same definitions the merchant dashboard uses.
- Window
- Lifetime: June 2026 to September 2026 (3 months live)
- Source
- Idukki production analytics, refreshed 2026-10-01
- What it does not prove
- No order is counted here: the store has no proven widget order yet, or its checkout tracking is not connected. Add-to-carts and cart value show buying intent, not revenue.
Stack
- Idukki shoppable video gallery
