# Idukki vs Videowise vs Storista: shoppable video on Shopify, side by side

A side-by-side comparison of Idukki, Videowise and Storista for shoppable video on Shopify: formats, pricing shape, page weight, AI, TikTok Shop, platforms and what sits beyond video. We make Idukki; the table is sourced.

Three tabs, three demo videos, three ways of saying "shoppable". Videowise shows you a live-shopping studio. Storista shows you a price that starts at sixteen dollars. We show you a gallery where the video sits next to a customer photo and a Google review. They are all good at something. The question is which something your store actually needs, and what each one costs in the month your best clip takes off.

**Quick answer**

- Choose **Videowise** for the most video features on Shopify, including live shopping, and budget for tiers sized by views ($99 to $449 a month when we checked).
- Choose **Storista** for the lowest price (free to $199 a month, limited by widget count) and publishing to TikTok Shop.
- Choose **Idukki** (ours) when video is one format among photos and reviews, you want rights recorded per post, or you sell on more than Shopify.
- Vendor facts from Videowise's and Storista's own pages, checked May and August 2026. Last updated 29 September 2026.

This is a comparison written by one of the three vendors, which is a reason to read it carefully rather than a reason to skip it. The rules we held ourselves to: every Videowise and Storista fact comes from their own site, pricing page or Shopify App Store listing; where they publish a claim we cannot verify, we call it a claim; and where they beat us, the table says so. ## Pricing: three different meters

The three tools count three different things, and that shapes the bill more than the headline price. Videowise tiers are sized by views (about 30,000, 150,000 and 300,000 on its published $99, $249 and $449 plans), with live shopping from $49 a month and AI tools as further add-ons. Storista counts widgets: the number of galleries you can publish, not how often they are watched, which it markets as "no impression fees". Idukki counts widget impressions in bands: up to 10,000 a month on the $45 plan where shoppable video and rights start, 20,000 on $75 and 50,000 on $200.

So the honest comparison depends on your traffic. A small store with a handful of widgets pays least on Storista. A store whose videos get watched heavily should model Videowise's view tiers against its best month, not its average one. A store that wants photos, reviews and rights under the same bill should compare Idukki against the Videowise or Storista price plus whatever it would add for those. Our [guide to UGC pricing models](/blog/ugc-software-pricing-models-2026) walks through each meter.

## Where each one wins

### Wins and trade-offs
_Our reading of each vendor's own pages. Idukki is ours._

**Videowise: Depth**
The most video features on Shopify.
- ✓ 15+ formats and video hub pages
- ✓ Multi-host live shopping
- ✓ AI clips from long videos
- ✓ Klaviyo, Tapcart and Shop app distribution
- ✗ Tiers sized by views
- ✗ Live and AI are add-ons
- ✗ WooCommerce embed only

**Storista: Price**
Cheapest entry, TikTok Shop out.
- ✓ From $16 a month
- ✓ Priced by widget count
- ✓ Built for Shopify badge
- ✓ Publishes to TikTok Shop
- ✗ Shopify only
- ✗ No reviews or photo galleries
- ✗ No rights workflow

**Idukki: Breadth**
Video alongside photos, reviews and rights.
- ✓ Photos, video and imported reviews
- ✓ Consent recorded per post
- ✓ Five commerce platforms
- ✓ 37 KB measured runtime
- ✗ No TikTok Shop publishing
- ✗ Live shopping partial
- ✗ Fewer video-only formats

## Page speed: claims and measurements

All three talk about speed, in different registers. Videowise publishes a 97% compression figure and "zero CWV impact". Storista says its loading is PageSpeed-safe, with adaptive streaming and lazy loading. We publish the runtime size of our widget, 37 KB measured on a production gallery, and enforce a rule that only the visible slides preload video. None of these is a substitute for running your own product page through PageSpeed Insights with the widget on and off. It takes ten minutes and it is the only number that is about your store.

## Which should you choose?

**A two-question shortcut**
Q: Is short video the only customer content you want on the store?
- Yes: **Pick between the video specialists** — Both are Shopify-first and video-first; the split is depth against price.
  - You need live shopping or the widest format set: Videowise, and model the view tiers against your best month.
  - Budget is tight, or TikTok Shop is a channel: Storista.
- No: **You want one library for every format** — Photos, reviews and video in the same galleries, with rights recorded.
  - You sell on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce or Magento: Idukki (ours).

**The takeaway:** Videowise, Storista and Idukki each win a different argument: depth, price and breadth. Decide which argument your store is having, then model the meter against your busiest month rather than your average one.

### Questions buyers ask

**Q: Is Videowise or Storista cheaper?**

A: Storista's published plans start lower (free, then $16 a month) and are limited by widget count. Videowise's published plans ran from $99 to $449 a month, sized by views, when we checked in 2026.

**Q: Does Idukki publish to TikTok Shop?**

A: No. Idukki imports from TikTok, but does not publish content out to TikTok Shop. Videowise and Storista both list TikTok Shop publishing.

**Q: Which of the three works on WooCommerce?**

A: Idukki supports WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento natively. Videowise lists WooCommerce as embed only, without native product sync. Storista is Shopify only.
