# Idukki vs Syncly vs Emplifi UGC: finding customer content, managing it, or selling with it

Syncly listens inside social video, Emplifi UGC is one module of an enterprise CX suite, and Idukki turns customer content into shoppable galleries on your store. A side-by-side comparison, with a table and sources. We make Idukki.

A brand manager finds a TikTok of a customer using the product in a way nobody in the marketing team had thought of. It has forty thousand views and it never tagged the brand. Two questions follow, and they belong to different tools. How do we find more of these? And how do we get this one onto the product page, with permission, next to a buy button? Syncly answers the first. Emplifi answers a version of both inside a much bigger suite. We answer the second.

**Quick answer**

- **Syncly** finds content: it listens inside TikTok, Reels and Shorts (speech and on-screen text) for brand mentions nobody tagged. It does not display anything on your store.
- **Emplifi UGC** collects, permissions and measures content as one of eleven modules in an enterprise "Autonomous CX" suite. Its UGC page shows no product tagging or store checkout.
- **Idukki** (ours) displays and sells: customer content on your store, products tagged to the cart, consent recorded per post, orders attributed from the store's order webhook.
- Many brands need a finder and a seller. Few need a suite for this alone. Facts checked July and August 2026; last updated 29 September 2026.

These three tools turn up in the same searches because they all touch "UGC", but they sit at different points in the life of a piece of customer content. Content gets found, then collected and cleared, then shown to a shopper, then measured against orders. Syncly lives at the start of that line. Emplifi covers the middle as part of a broader social suite. Idukki covers collection through to the order. We make Idukki; the other two columns come from their own pages.

**Where each tool sits in the life of a customer post**
1. **Find** — Spot posts about the brand, including ones that never tagged it. (Syncly)
2. **Collect and clear** — Bring the post in and record the creator's permission. (Emplifi, Idukki)
3. **Show and sell** — Put it on the product page with the product tagged to the cart. (Idukki)
4. **Measure** — Tie the post to orders, not just views. (Idukki; Emplifi measures campaigns)

## Syncly: the finder

Syncly started as a customer-feedback analytics company (Y Combinator, Winter 2023) and now leads with "AI social intelligence for the video era". The useful idea is listening inside the video rather than the caption: it transcribes what people say, reads text overlays and detects logos and products in frames, so it can surface mentions that never tag the brand, which Syncly says are most of them. It also profiles creators already talking about your category and tracks which ones drive TikTok Shop sales signals.

What it does not do is the second half. There is no widget, no gallery and no store integration, so a great video found in Syncly still needs permission, a product tag and a place on the page. That is not a criticism; it is a different product. Pricing is not published, and a free trial is available.

## Emplifi UGC: the suite module

Emplifi sells an eleven-product "Autonomous CX" suite: publishing, listening, care, ratings and reviews, influencers, community and a UGC Platform among them, with more than 20,000 brands claimed across the suite. The UGC page frames the problem as content supply ("scale content beyond internal resources") and lists collecting images, video, reviews and social posts, requesting permission in the platform, tagging content and measuring campaigns.

The UGC page does not show product tagging, checkout from a gallery or a Shopify listing, and the stats on it are Emplifi's own, without a named study behind them, so we do not repeat them. If your organisation already runs Emplifi for social and care, the module is a sensible thing to evaluate with the team you already have. If you are a store looking for a UGC tool, it is priced and sold for a different buyer. More on the [Emplifi comparison page](/compare/emplifi).

## Idukki: the seller (ours)

Idukki starts from the product page. Content comes in from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Threads, from hashtag campaigns and from review sources (Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor, Judge.me). Each post carries its consent, gets products tagged by a vision model (confident matches apply themselves, the rest wait for a person) and renders as a shoppable gallery, reel or story. Orders are attributed from the store's own order webhook, so the report reads in orders rather than views; [how order-anchored attribution works](/blog/what-is-order-anchored-attribution) explains why that matters.

Where Syncly is ahead of us: finding untagged mentions inside video. We collect from connected accounts and hashtags, and we do not transcribe what people say in a clip. If discovery is your bottleneck, Syncly and Idukki are a sensible pair rather than a choice.

### One line each
_Our reading of each vendor's own pages. Idukki is ours._

**Find: Syncly**
Listens inside social video.
- ✓ Untagged mentions in video
- ✓ Speech and on-screen text
- ✓ Creator intelligence
- ✗ No display layer
- ✗ No store integration
- ✗ Pricing not published

**Manage: Emplifi UGC**
A module in an enterprise suite.
- ✓ Part of a wide CX suite
- ✓ Permission requests
- ✓ Campaign measurement
- ✗ No product tagging shown
- ✗ No store checkout shown
- ✗ Sales-led pricing

**Sell: Idukki**
Customer content that sells on your store.
- ✓ Shoppable galleries, reels, stories
- ✓ Consent per post
- ✓ Order-anchored attribution
- ✗ No in-video listening
- ✗ Not a full CX suite

**The takeaway:** Finding customer content and selling with it are two jobs. Syncly is built for the first, Idukki for the second, and Emplifi covers parts of both for enterprises already on its suite. Buy for the bottleneck you actually have: most stores have far more good content than they have on their product pages.
